Description
This is a 1886 Silver Certificate. This type featuring a portrait of Civil War General Hancock is not seen very often. Especially in uncirculated condition! This is a great note if you want an example of the type that will fit solidly in an uncirculated type set or Freidberg set. The Freidberg number is 242 with signatures of Rosecrans and Hyatt. It has the large spiked red seal. This note is graded by PCGS as Gem Uncirculated 66PPQ. This note is close to perfect.
You don't have to take my word for the grade of the note, you just have to trust PCGS.
